Today is one of my happiest days! My purchase from Dimitrios at OldSchoolAudio72 of a Marantz 2245 Engraved Champagne edition arrived last night. I finally broke down and purchased a mint Marantz 2275 from Dimitrios at OSA72. The unit was shipped UPS from NY to SC, and I was impressed by the careful packaging—double boxed, secured with packing tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, styrofoam, and even pool noodles in all corners, along with extra cardboard and solid foam. The unit arrived unmolested and in truly mint condition. The internals and new caps were evident, showcasing the quality of vintage stereo repair in NYC. I'm testing it today, and it delivers a beautiful sound. It sings perfectly with my Wharfedale Lintons and Pioneer PL560 TT. It's like finding an old sound that resonates with me.
